What is an Escape Room?

In each experience, you will be placed in a themed room for a designated amount of time while you and your team try to find clues and solve a series of puzzles, leading to the completion of your objectives. The rooms contain clues, puzzles, props and other elements that are relevant to your experience.

When should I arrive?

Players are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game reservation. This allows for introductions, instructions, bathroom visits, and other miscellaneous activities prior to the start of the game. Arriving early will allow for the game to start on time. Arriving late will result in time being deducted from the game experience. Rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance is not permitted.

I need to reschedule my reservation...

Games can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Call (724) 635-0413 to reschedule your game. Attempts to reschedule with less than 24 hours notice could result in forfeiture of payment, depending on availability.

How many people can play at once?

Each game reservation will show the maximum amount of players allowed, but most of our games can accommodate up to 10 players.

How much does it cost?

It costs a minimum of $75 per game Mon-Thurs, which covers up to 3 players. It costs a minimum of $100 per game Fri-Sun, which covers up to 4 players. Any additional players beyond those minimums are charged $25 each.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes. You can reserve your game by calling (724) 635-0413 or by booking online on this website.

Is this a haunted house?

No.

How long does a game last?

Generally, our games have a 60 minute time limit.

Are there any age restrictions for participants?

Generally, no. Our games do not have age restrictive elements or themes. Because our games will change, it is always best to call if you have a question about a specific game.

What, if anything, should I bring to the game?

You should dress comfortably for your gaming experience, this includes comfortable shoes. Please make sure to bring any assistive devices including glasses or hearing aids that you use regularly. Phone use will not be permitted during your game.

Are the games ADA complient?

Great Scott Escapes is accessible from the street. Currently, our first floor game room and restrooms are also accessible

Will there be other groups playing with us?

No. You will not be paired with other groups. Your booking is private and will only include the members in your group.

Can we get hints if we get stuck?

Yes. There is an unlimited number of hints you can receive. You decide how many hints you want, if any.
